Keith Gessen and HFM present Diary of a Bad Year: Confessions of an Anonymous Hedge Fund Manager
In the late summer of 2007, when the first hedge funds started blowing up because of failed subprime mortgages, an anonymous hedge fund manager (HFM) sat down with n+1 editor Keith Gessen to discuss what was happening in the world of finance. Their conversations became a series of interviews in n+1 vivdly recounting the scope of the crisis from the viewpoint of a participant. Gessen and HFM discuss the new book compiling those interviews this evening, along with the continuing implications of that bad year.RSVP on Facebook (optional)
