On the third Thursday of every month, join Bob Powers (author of Happy Cruelty Day) and Jason Reich (former writer for "The Daily Show"), as they welcome the city's best humor writers for a night of wine-addled text-based hilarity.

Tao Lin is the author of Shoplifting from American Apparel, an autobiographical novella spanning two years in the life of a young, hip writer who is trying to both not be a bad person and find some kind of happiness or something.

The Reverend Jen Miller is the author of Live Nude Elf, a hilarious memoir recounting the "sexperiments" performed for her online Nerve magazine column.

Funny and philosophical at the same time, In The Event of My Untimely Demise delivers father-to-son life wisdom from humorist Brian Sack, the creator of banterist.com.


(Note: formerly scheduled comics Jason Diamond and Dave Hill will be unable to participate in this event. We pity them because they will miss the fun and alcohol.)
