Vendela Vida, author of The Lovers
Vendela Vida is the acclaimed author of the 2007 New York Times Notable Book Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name, and collaborated with her husband Dave Eggers on the screenplay Away We Go.In her new novel The Lovers, she demonstrates the crystalline voice and psychological nuance for which her work has been so celebrated. The story of a widowed woman returning to the site of her honeymoon in Turkey, the novel explores the love between husbands and wives, and mothers and children.
