Author Marcy Dermansky has published short stories and film criticism as well as an acclaimed previous novel, Twins; her new novel Bad Marie is the story of an irresistible husband-stealing, baby-snatching, underachieving ex-con, and has been praised by Mary Robison, Frederick Barthelme and Ben Greenman among many others.
